DNS Management
Florist Window provides DNS management as part of our ongoing service to florist clients. DNS is managed using secure, cloud-based infrastructure and is intentionally kept separate from our web servers to improve resilience, security and long-term scalability.
DNS is managed either directly by Florist Window or, where a florist retains their domain with an existing registrar, through secure third-party control panels with the client’s permission. This allows us to support domains registered anywhere without restricting client choice.
It is common for domain registration, website hosting and email services to be provided by different companies. We routinely manage these configurations and ensure all services are correctly aligned and fully operational.
DNS management includes configuration and support for:
- Name servers and NS records
- A and AAAA records
- CNAME records
- MX records for email routing
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC records
- TXT records for verification and security
We provide the same level of support whether DNS changes are inbound or outbound, ensuring continuity of service at all times.
DNS management is included as part of Florist Window support. No additional charges apply. It is included as part of our ongoing support for Florist Window clients.
Ongoing DNS changes and technical assistance are handled through our Florist Support team.
Pricing
.uk, .co.uk, .org.uk florist domains are registered and renewed at £10 + VAT per year.
.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info domains are registered and renewed at:
- UK: £20 + VAT
- USD: $30
- CAD: $35
- EUR: €30
- AUD: $35
- NZD: $35
- South Africa: R800

Florist Registrants
All domains registered through Florist Window Ltd are registered in the florist’s name, ensuring full legal ownership and control.
Florist Domain Name Renewals
We send automated renewal reminders at 4, 3, 2 and 1 weeks before expiry, and again at 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 1 day after expiry if unpaid. Domains can be renewed online using SSL-secured payment via FIS Global Worldpay.
.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info Domains
If not renewed by the expiry date, your domain will be suspended. A 30-day grace period follows with a £250 + VAT / $400 redemption fee to restore service. After 60 days, the domain will be deleted from the registry and made available to third parties. Florist Window cannot guarantee recovery after this period.
.uk, .co.uk Domains
If not renewed by the expiry date, a 30-day grace period applies, followed by a 60-day redemption period. No additional fees apply during this time. After 90 days, the domain may be deleted and resold. Florist Window cannot guarantee recovery after this period.
Domain Name Transfers
No charges apply for .uk domains transferred in or out.
.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info domains transferred in: UK £20 + VAT, $30 USD, $35 CAD, €30, R800, $35 AUD, $35 NZD per domain (includes a 1-year registration extension).
Transfers out are free of charge, although receiving registrars may apply their own fees.
Complaints and Escalation Process
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our domain or DNS service, please email support@floristwindow.com with full details. We will acknowledge your complaint within one business day and aim to resolve it within five business days.
